How Do I Know Which Writing Course to Choose?

We have courses for elementary, middle and high school at multiple skill levels. If you are unsure which course you should choose, look at the writing samples below. If your child’s writing looks like any of these samples, click the “suggested course Suggested Course” link next to that sample to see the most appropriate course for your child.

If you are still unsure which course you should choose, after looking at our placement chart, select the course you think is right and add a note in the “comments to the teacher” section, during signup, about making sure the child has been placed in the proper course.

Most importantly, don’t forget that you have two weeks from the start of the course in which to change to a course better suited for your child. This change could be requested by you or suggested by the teacher.
