Basic Mechanics A is a suggested prerequisite for this course.

Middle School Writing Enhancement allows students to strengthen their foundation writing skills. The course teaches the fundamentals of writing such as: strong sentence writing and types of sentences, using verbs, adverbs and adjectives, punctuation, proofreading and using confusing words. This course emphasizes the technical parts of writing such as comma and semi-colon placement, compound sentences, words often confused, and capitalization.
