Beauty and the Beast Writing Unit for Students
Site News and Updates, Tips for Teaching Writing
Beauty and the Beast. It’s a tale as old as time, but we can’t help but get excited when this classic story gets a makeover. Disney has turned the romantic fairy tale of book-loving Belle and the cursed prince into a live-action musical adventure released in 2017.
If your students are fans of the film (or any of the Beauty and the Beast books or movies), then you’ll be happy to know that we’ve put together a writing activities unit study just for young Beauty and the Beast fans! In this study, you’ll find:
- grammar printable
- vocabulary list and games
- topic sentence activity
- figurative language activity
- transitional words activity
- story ending activity
All printables, games, and activities in the unit are tied to the story and designed to build some of the most important writing skills, such as those taught in our eight-week writing courses.
